Angkasa is an Indonesian alternative pop-rock band hailing from Cianjur, established on November 23, 2004. The band comprises five members: Ato on vocals, Anggi on drums (later replaced by Obiro Shima on December 2, 2012), Teguh on guitar, Ovick on bass, and Denny 'Linx' on keyboards. They released their debut album "Jangan Pernah Selingkuh" in 2008, which reflects the band's rock genre and explores themes of love experiences. Before signing with Warner Music Indonesia, Angkasa released indie albums that reached audiences across Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Bali, showcasing their widespread appeal. The band's early years were marked by significant achievements, including winning a high school level band festival in 2004, securing third place in a West Java poetry music contest the same year, claiming first place in the Independence Performance in 2006, and third place in a West Java songwriting competition in 2007. Vocalist Ato was also a top three finalist in the Dreamband vocal category, choosing to continue his journey with Angkasa despite the opportunity. In 2018, Angkasa signed with Nagaswara, and released a new single "Dingin" from their album "Rahasia Terbesar". Throughout their career, Angkasa has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to their music and fans, overcoming member changes and the challenges of the music industry to establish themselves as a beloved alternative pop-rock band in Indonesia.
